St Patrick in his own words....

A six-part cinematic retelling of Patrick’s story using his own words from the Confession, filmed across the landscapes of Northern Ireland.

This is Patrick's story, told by Patrick himself. In the 5th century, an elderly Patrick wrote his Confessio—a personal testimony of captivity, prayer, forgiveness, and God's overwhelming grace. It's one of the oldest surviving documents written in Ireland, and it's remarkably honest. No legends. No miracles. No shamrocks. Just a man accounting for his life before God. This six-part series takes Patrick's actual words from the Confessio and presents them as spoken testimony. Celtic Revelation have worked from scholarly English translations of the original Latin text (based on Ludwig Bieler's critical edition), staying close to Patrick's distinctive voice while adapting the language for modern listeners.

What you'll hear: Patrick's capture and enslavement at sixteen His prayer life in the Irish fields—a hundred prayers a day His escape and the voice that guided him His call to return to the land that enslaved him His choice to forgive and love his enemies His final testimony of gratitude and grace Each episode is 5-6 minutes of Patrick speaking in first person, filmed across the landscapes of Northern Ireland where his story unfolded. No narrator. No commentary. Just Patrick's confession, with the Irish landscape as witness. This is Patrick—unfiltered, unromanticized, and surprisingly relatable.
