We hope this finds you well and in a place of encouragement. However, we recognise the reality for many of us in these days can be dismay at changes we see in our society, and frustration with our political processes. Our prayer in these days is that the church will rise up in unity, will pray together effectively, and will show true Christ–like love and compassion for many hurting individuals in need of help from the Lord.
You will no doubt be aware of a number of recent events and initiatives aimed at prayer and at expressing concerns over issues and we hope many of you have felt able to support some or all of these. We are thankful that these have been well supported, and we trust have been beneficial. See below for some reports on the ‘For the Soul of the Nation’ prayer gathering in St Anne’s Cathedral, also the Silent Witness protest at Stormont.
