North Belfast Prayer Walk

Woodvale Methodist, 260 Cambrai Street

In 2015 a group of church leaders and church workers from North Belfast gathered together to share their hopes, concerns and heart for their community. During this time of discussion and listening to each other they considered what the needs of the community were.

Arising from this meeting was a desire to bless the area, to connect across the churches and prayer walk together. Rev. Colin Duncan (Woodvale Methodist Church), Liam Cluskey (Lamb of God Community) and Stephen Whitten (Church Army) took up the call to gather people on a monthly basis to prayer walk and pray blessing over the different communities in North Belfast.

Each month they gather in a different church pray together and they head out in small groups to bless and pray. So far they have gathered in over 30 churches and many denominations are represented.

Here are some dates for 2018:–

5th March – Jennymount Methodist, North Queen Street

9th April – St Stephen’s, Millfield

14th May – St Paul’s, York Street
