Advent is on our doorstep and we are reminded of the words from the Christmas Carol;
“Love came down at Christmas,
Love all lovely, Love Divine;
Love was born at Christmas,
Star and Angels gave the sign.”
Often we find ourselves caught up in the pressure and busyness of the Christmas season and yet something within us yearns for the true essence of what it really is all about and something from without gently calls for our attention, to take time to be still. Like the shepherds and the Magi we are drawn on the journey to find “the reason for the season”, to find our Christ; Love that came down!
