Houses of PrayerTuesday 23rd November 2010

Right across these islands we are seeing "Houses of Prayer"  springing up and most recently B-HOP,the Ballymena House of Prayer was launched. Their desire is that through sustained worship, intercession and reaching out to those in need a culture of prayer and worship will develop; prayer that changes the DNA of a community through the presence of God. C-HOP, Coleraine House of Prayer  has been running and developing since May 2000. It is a regular intercessory worship event bringing together a diverse community of worshippers gathering to worship and seek God.

The remit of C-HOP is to make space to rediscover the pleasure and power that there is when we interact with our heavenly Father; when we really fulfill the purpose for which we were designed. It is also to encourage a unity in worship between people of different church denominations. It is about building His holy temple of worship rather than our own denominational houses.
